Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At Fun with Candles, we take pride in providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please read our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy carefully before placing an order.
Returns
We offer a 7-day return period from the date of delivery or collection of your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:

Be unused and in its original condition.

Be returned in its original packaging.

Include proof of purchase.
-
Not have been used, altered, damaged, opened, or partially consumed.
To request a return, please contact us at info@funwithcandles.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order.
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is defective, damaged, or supplied incorrectly, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Collection Orders
Customers selecting the "Collection" option during checkout are responsible for collecting their order from the designated collection point.
Should a customer later request courier delivery after selecting collection, courier charges will apply and must be paid before the order is dispatched.
Failure to collect an order does not automatically qualify the order for cancellation or refund.
Orders not collected within 30 days may be considered abandoned and may be subject to storage, handling or restocking charges.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before processing and packing has commenced.
Once processing, packing, manufacturing, labeling, customization, or preparation of an order has begun, a cancellation fee may apply.
Cancellation fees are calculated based on actual costs incurred and may include:

Payment gateway transaction fees.

Banking fees.

Packaging materials.
-
Labour and handling costs.

Administrative costs.
-
Restocking costs where applicable.
The cancellation fee will be reasonable and proportionate to the costs incurred by Fun with Candles.
Any approved refund will be processed after deduction of applicable cancellation fees.
Custom-Made and Personalized Products
Custom-made, personalized, branded, specially manufactured, made-to-order, or customized products cannot be returned or refunded once production has commenced.
This includes but is not limited to:

Custom candle orders.

Corporate branded products.
-
Wedding and event favors.
-
Personalized gift items.
-
Special-order products.
-
Products manufactured to customer specifications.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If you receive:

A defective item.

A damaged item.
-
An incorrect item.
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order by emailing info@funwithcandles.co.za and include photographs of the product and packaging.
Where appropriate, we may:

Replace the item.

Repair the item.
-
Provide a refund.

Provide store credit.
In certain cases, the item may need to be returned for inspection before a refund or replacement is approved.
Non-Returnable Products
For hygiene, safety and product integrity reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

Opened or used candles.

Opened fragrance oils.

Opened diffuser products.
-
Opened bath and body products.
-
Personal care products.
-
Sale items.
-
Gift cards.
-
Clearance items.
-
Custom-made or personalized products.

Products damaged through misuse or improper storage.
Refund Process
Once a return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
Please note:

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Payment gateway fees and approved cancellation fees may be deducted where applicable.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
